RCA Living Stereo — 180-Gram Vinyl, Remastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound

Since its original release in the mid-1950s, Fritz Reiner's account of Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra has stood as the standard against which all other recordings are measured — a benchmark of orchestral control, rhythm and texture that remains unsurpassed even by dozens of later conductors. This Analogue Productions reissue was remastered from the original 2-track session tapes by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, plated by Gary Salstrom and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings.
