Hybrid Stereo SACD — Mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound from the Original Analog Master Tapes

Released in 1970, Tea for the Tillerman is Cat Stevens' breakthrough masterpiece and one of the defining singer-songwriter albums of its era. Warm, intimate and quietly profound, it pairs Stevens' rich voice and acoustic guitar with Alun Davies' interlocking second guitar and Del Newman's string arrangements, produced by Paul Samwell-Smith. Home to enduring classics "Wild World," "Father and Son" and "Where Do the Children Play?," it explores faith, family and the search for meaning with a directness that has kept it beloved for over half a century. This Hybrid Stereo SACD plays in both CD and SACD players.
